We are a full-service independent running gear store that you can count on for friendly, non judgmental, honest advice. We are obsessed with shoes, and we are experts at shoe fitting for runners, walkers, or for people who stand on their feet all day! We have the gear to outfit you for all your running adventures- whether that’s your first road 5k or a 100-mile trail ultra.
But we’re about more than just gear. We are all about running culture- running is FUN after all! We love to hear your running stories and are always so excited for people who are excited about running! We are an inclusive and un-intimidating store where we love to make connections with new runners and old hats alike. We are a place to connect with other runners, to share running routes and trails, and to just hang out with other people who run! Drop by and chat, fill your water bottles, have a cup of coffee, and tell us all about your running journey!
Who We Are
We are a team of friends who are passionate about the running community:
Caroline has a hundred and one hobbies, any one of which you might know her from, but running has been a constant thread through her life since she was a teenager. She qualified for Boston at 17, ran track and cross-country at the U of M, and is now focussed on longer distances. Cultivating a welcoming, diverse, and inclusive community for every kind of runner and building friendships is very important to Caroline!
Josh has been running for most of his life, racing for the first time as a toddler. He has also always been an outdoorsy kind of guy and has merged his interests into a passion for trail running. Josh really values the social aspects of running and thinks that running is one of the best ways to meet new people and to help people open-up to each other a little bit more!
Erick, as you may already know, used to own a nice little running store in west Winnipeg for 14 years and sold it in 2020. He wants everyone to be safe when they run and wants everyone who comes into our store to leave smiling, whether they buy something or not! The running shoe business and shoe fitting is what Erick loves, and he is always excited to welcome new and old runners alike to the shop!
